We all have one – “My Happy Place.” With the holiday season moving into high gear we’ll all have plenty of stressful moments over the next few months when we’ll need to go to our happy place. It’s that place you wish you were when times are the worst. It’s that place where your worries and troubles melt away. It can be an actual place where you still go (or wish you could go, if you haven’t been there yet) or it can be a memory, somewhere you remember being the happiest and just calling those memories up makes everything a little more bearable. Here are a few of ours.
Happy Place by Sara
Sara finds her favorite happy places between the covers of her favorite books. She used Kay Eflin’s Ex Libris kit to create this beautiful layout which uses meaningful journaling in place of pictures to describe her places of escape.
In My Garden by Becky Morris
Becky’s happy place is in her garden, surrounded by beautiful flowers. She gave this picture of her garden a fun border and complimented the colors with papers and elements from Summer Fun by Rose Thorn and Astrological Dreams Collab Kit.
My Happy Place by Carissa Imel
Carissa’s first choice of places she’d rather be will always be with the dolphins. She says, “I can be having the worst of days, but when I go the dolphin pool and wait.. however long it takes, a dolphin will come and we will have that bonding moment for however long it last. Looking into their eyes & holding one in my hands just gets rid of all stress in my life & just makes life better.” She put this layout together using products from Kay Eflin’s Beach Front Property kit and Julie Mead’s Cool Waves Running brushes.
Great Wolf Lodge by Katie
Katie’s family loves to get-away to this family friendly vacation spot. She complemented her fun pictures with Jen Reed’s Happiness Mini Kit.
Happy Place by AnikA
One of AnikA’s favorite places is her nephew’s pool. She shows off her beautiful pictures with Snapshots Shutterfly Book Kit Extras by Cheryl McCain Designs.
Happy Place by Carissa Imel
About her second layout, Carissa says, “After to going to Gatlinburg and going throughout the Smokey Mountains finding all these beautiful streams, waterfalls, and out coves nestled amongst all the gorgeous coloration of the fall leaves… I found a completely new type of calmness about me.” She used several products from Julie Mead on this layout, including her Fall A Flutter element pack.
