5 Layouts to Love April 5, 2010

I continue to be inspired by layout artists and the unique ways that they use elements, papers, and incorporate photos.  Take a look at these great pages!

Now here’s an idea to try.  Gouzinette added blocks of paper and gave each one a drop shadow.  She created a great background for her photo!

I never get tired of windows on layouts.  Using outside scenes lend themselves well to creating a page that looks as if you are looking out the window.

Coppercurls used digital brushes to “brush” in the photo for this layout.  What a marvelous look she has achieved by only showing part of the photo.

Don’t you just love the cute player buttons?  I also like the small extracted photos.  It makes it all so adorable.

Gouzinette is a master at using elements in unique ways.  For instance she used a loop in the string to highlight the word “be” in her layout.  Also, using the eyeglasses as a frame to focus (no pun intended) your attention on a photo is a really great idea.  Try using your elements in ways to bring focus to a particular part of your layout.
