365 Project Challenge—With a Twist–Challenge from Designer Cheryl McCain January 3, 2010

Filed under: 365 Project Challenge,Digital Scrapbooks,Freebie,Printables — Julie Mead @ 11:04 am

I remember last year trying to complete a 365 project and just couldn’t do it. Well……..I’ve been brainstorming a way to make it much easier and I think you’re going to like this one.
Here’s how it works:
I’ve always wanted to complete a Rolodex album, if that’s what you call it. I’m working on an entire kit of nothing but embellished Rolodex cards for you.

If you’re like me and don’t have things to take photos of each and every day, then you can use this challenge to actually easily complete this Project 365.
There are many ways you could use the Rolodex cards to make a beautiful altered project and have fun at the same time.

Each day, you can add a photo to your Rolodex card, OR journal a memory you’ve had that day, OR type or hand write a favorite recipe, quote, Bible verse, OR journal something important or meaningful that happened that day. Use your imagination…..but it doesn’t HAVE to be a photo every day.

At the end of the year, you’ll have a year’s worth of mementos.

You can even embellish the cards with various colors of ribbon or scrap paper, buttons, thread, etc. It’s limitless what you could do with your Rolodex to make a beautiful Project 365.

Here’s a small sampling of the cards I’m creating for your use. I’ll have them in the store soon at a special price for this challenge. In the meantime, I’m supplying you with 4 cards FREE to get you started so we don’t fall too far behind.

You can download your FREE cards HERE to get you started. At the end of each month, everyone that posts a photo of their completed cards (you can groups them together on your table and take a photo or if you have them in a Rolodex, take a photo of each month’s worth. (You don’t have to post each and everyone to the gallery.)

Each month, post your completed monthly projects in the gallery HERE and receive a coupon to my store each month for playing along.  Be sure to post in this thread a link to your gallery so we can all see what you’ve done.

Thanks for playing…….and HAPPY SCRAPPING!!

I have to say this does sound like a great idea. I will give it a try and see if I can keep up. Sure would be fun to look back on at the end of the year.
