Little Hanging Coaster Hybrid Album by Brittney Tinkey
E-scape Artist Brittney Tinkey designed this quick and cute hybrid album using 3.5×3.5 size coasters. She used Julie and Kay’s Carousel mini kits to create 4 layouts and one title layout. She suggests using exaggerated shadows to make the pages pop. To print, arrange several on an 8.5×11 document and print onto white card stock. Use an adhesive runner to adhere the layouts to the coasters. Trim edges with an Xacto knife and sand edges downward with a sanding block. Chalk the edges with medium brown and hole punch coasters for stringing. The last coaster only needs a hole at the top. String together with ribbon, gluing to the backside to secure. Loop ribbon from the top of the cover layout and tie a knot for hanging.

Pam says this about her new kit: I named this kit after my great grandmother. She got me interested in genealogy with all the stories she used to tell. This is a beautiful vintage kit with wonderfully textured papers and a wide variety of elements. The rectangular frames are authentic, scanned and extracted by me.

Nifty Tutorial and FREEbies–Turn Your Layout into a Template or Quick Page
Have you made a layout that you just love and want a way to use it again? Turn your design into a PSP or PS layered template. Then use the template to make a quick page from your favorite kit. In this example, I used Beautiful by Escape Artist Terry Noonan for this example. Terry used Kay Eflin’s Garden Magic for this layout.
Terry’s layout has clean lines embellished by word art and elements.
Open your completed layout in your program. Layer shapes over your design, placing each on its own layer. See example below. Save as a layered file for future use. This template is available for download for Personal Use only. Click on example to begin download.
